Who Is Star Light Really?

Have you met a Star Light Volunteer in your area? Are you searching for support, friendship, or resources in your area? Are you curious about who we are?

These are the things that we know about women who are exotic dancers:

  • You are a wonderful, amazing , wonderful woman. “Sure,” you’re thinking, “that’s just because you don’t know me.” Not true. We know you, have walked alongside other women like you, have even been there ourselves. You are created in the image of God, and are absolutely fabulous.
  • You are free and qualified to make all the decisions in your life. Star Light respects all of your choices, whether it be in relationships, jobs, religion, or whatever else you can think of. Are we trying to move you to a different place? No. We’re here to support you in all your decisions.
  • You’re waiting for “the other shoe to drop.” Will we judge you? Will we figure out a way to make you feel bad about yourself? Will we accept you, then someday say, “BUT?” We won’t. See the first point.
