i represent a humble team of 3 that continues to “carry the torch” for what star-light ministries represented. aiming to say “God loves you, too” through presence and small kindnesses at a local club, we take hugs and small gifts to the dancers there each month. i’m guessing there might be a few more teams like ours still out there, formerly networked through star-light. would love to see your reply to this entry if that’s true! in the meantime, know you’re not alone!

Thank you. I’ve been having an ongoing argument with someone who believes that it is perfectly okay to slut shame women who work in the sex industry. It is driving me crazy. How can you, as a woman who claims to be about lifting women up, even begin to make the argument that humiliating and ridiculing another woman is a good thing? *sigh* Glad to find this right now. Renews my faith in the world.
